The crank angle sensors are mounted to the timing cover and are manufactured to O.E.M. specification utilizing ferrite magnets, high-impact housings, and O.E.M.-style connectors. The trigger contacts, the majority of which are for BMW applications, are serviced separately through Forecast, but as part of the ignition cable set by the O.E.M. Magnetic reluctor type units match Forecast output wave shapes and amplitude to provide solid communication to on board computer.
