An exhaust manifold gasket serves a pretty straightforward purpose: to seal exhaust gas at the joint where the manifold attaches to the cylinder head exhaust ports. Although that's a straightforward task, it is not an easy one to perform. In high performance applications, the exhaust manifolds are called "headers" and are made of welded steel tubing.
You can count on Magnum to offer the best combination of steel layers and high-temp gasket materials to tackle the job in each application. Our Gaskets:- Withstand temperatures from 700°F to 1400°F (cherry hot)
- Resist scrubbing motions caused by manifolds expanding and contracting much more than cylinder heads
- Seal gaps caused by manifold flanges warping in these extreme conditions.
