Wix Spin-On Filters protect the transmission from premature wear by removing abrasive contaminants in the lubricating system. These filters are easy to install and require low maintenance.

Features:
  • Arch-pleated, blended filter media provides OE equivalent or higher filter surface area
  • Controlled porosity blended media ensures complete filtration of the transmission fluid
  • Coiled spring ensures constant load on the inner element to maintain the sale between the upper element and end cap, the inner element support, and the mounting plate even during pressure surges
  • Filter canister encloses the assembly with a mechanically locked double seam

Tips & Tools For The Job
  • Place a Drain Pan under the transmission to catch old fluid
  • Use a Filter Wrench to help remove a stuck filter
  • Clean the filter mounting base, making sure the seal from the old filter is not stuck to the filter mount
  • Apply a film of clean transmission fluid to the new seal prior to installing the new filter
  • Measure the amount of old transmission fluid drained to determine how much new Transmission Fluid to add
  • Use a Funnel to prevent spills when refilling the transmission
