Intermotor® is a complete engine management import line that includes ignition and electrical relays, switches and sensors with a concentration on high technology categories such as computerized engine controls, fuel injection, and emission controls with coverage for every part number with an import nameplate. Intermotor® parts are unrivalled for quality, original fit, form, function, and coverage providing a genuine import part in every box. Intermotor® is the import leader by design.

Features & Benefits:
  • Their newly manufactured mass air flow sensors provide your vehicle's ECU with accurate air flow readings, which are required to balance and deliver the correct air/fuel ratio to the engine in order to achieve clean burns.
  • Each of their mass air flow sensors is 100% newly manufactured to offer a better alternative to remanufactured sensors, which often contain left over debris contamination that ultimately leads to sensor failure.
  • These sensors feature proprietary sensing elements which provide accurate airflow output to the ECU over a wide range of ambient temperatures.
  • Each sensor is 100% air flow tested to ensure ideal performance under harsh and unforgiving engine conditions.
  • Every one of their sensors is manufactured to strict OE specifications to ensure the part you receive will outperform other air flow sensors found in the aftermarket.

Check for Vacuum Leaks First!

Vacuum leaks present symptoms similar to a faulty MAF Sensor. When replacing the MAF, always check for vacuum leaks, too. Common sources include:

  • Cracked or loose Vacuum Hoses / Connectors - an audio Stethoscope can help detect air induced sounds from vacuum leaks.
  • Leaking Intake Manifold Gasket (found in the "Engine" category) - Vacuum Gauge readings below 17-22 in-Hg (normal manifold vacuum at sea level) at idle may indicate an intake manifold gasket leak.
    • Note: As elevation increases, readings decrease. Subtract 1 in-Hg from normal manifold vacuum reference for every 1,000 feet increase in elevation above 2,000 feet.
  • Stuck open PCV Valve - remove the PCV Valve and gently shake it; if it does not rattle, the valve is clogged or dirty and should be replaced.
  • Cracked Intake Boot (found in the "Engine" category)
