OE PROBLEM
Water from the sunroof drain hose can re-enter at the front of the dash and get into the blower motor. This will eventually lead to rusting and premature failure.
The Four Seasons motor is designed with a breathing tube that combats condensation build up inside the motor housing and prevents water from flowing into the body of the motor.
Is it the Blower Motor or Blower Motor Control Module / Resistor?
The Blower Motor Control Module / Resistor controls the fan speed of the Blower Motor. When it fails, it can cause the Blower Motor to stop working and can cause confusion on which part is faulty.
